Keprom has been awarded a certificate of contribution to the reduction of CO2 emissions into the atmosphere for the year 2016, thereby demonstrating once again the company’s commitment to the socially responsible business practices. This is the third consecutive year that Keprom receives this certificate and, judging by the presented data, the results are improving year after year.
The certificate was awarded to Keprom by Sekopak, a company which, based on the CO2 calculator, calculates the share of the reduction of CO2 emissions into the atmosphere, based on the placed and recycled quantities of the packaging waste in the previous year.
The results indicate that, in the course of 2016, Keprom saved 48.54 tons of CO2, which means that in the previous year the company reduced the emission of the greenhouse gases by this amount and so contributed to improving the quality of life in the community where it operates
