After the successfully carried out initiative "MAM place for breastfeeding", Keprom has initiated phase two of this project on March 1st, in which, besides Belgrade, breastfeeding benches will also be installed in Novi Sad and Niš. The funds for the purchase and installation of the benches will be collected by allocating five dinars from the sale of every MAM product in the period from March 1st to May 31st.
The initiative "MAM place for breastfeeding" is a strong support to breastfeeding as the best and the healthiest way to feed babies, as well as to raising awareness of breastfeeding in public. The first MAM breastfeeding bench, installed at the Tašmajdan Park in Belgrade on June 2nd 2016, was the first of its kind in the region. Later on, two more benches were installed in Belgrade, one at the Karađorđe’s Park, and the other at the Zemun Quay.
The initiative is supported by the Nada Lazić School of Parenting and numerous socially responsible companies, such as Aksa Kids Mega Store, Dexy Co, Leto shop, DM, Lillly, Delhaize and Vero, as partners of the project.
